Zachariah R. Bees
The Way To The Top
Posted March 24, 2012 by Zachariah R. Bees in MMA Training
My name is Zach Bees. I am a 19 year old aspiring Mixed Martial Artist. Its been my dream since i was just a young kid to fight in a ring/cage. I used to box, did it for three years as a teenager, even racked up a decent record of seven wins with only one loss. I am now chasing after my dream of one day becoming a world class fighter. I dont have any money to train, so unfortunately I wont be getting much help until further notice. As of right now my Training Regime consists of 50 push ups and 100 sit ups in the morning, then ill go for a nice 2 mile jog to my good friend Austin Cox's house where hes got a 60 lb. Heavy Bag i use to practice my striking. Which reminds me, if your in North Florida and are in need of a Sparring Partner in the 185 or 170 pound weight class, let me know because striking with a bag offers some disadvantages... like... it doesnt hit back... anyways, I have never fought MMA before, so before i just jump right into the sport, I want to learn as much as i can, as fast as i can. If you have any tips, msg me please. This is a documentation of of my way to the top of Mixed Martial Arts.

Stolen From the Judges!

At the King of The Cage "Underground 63" Taylor Schmidt finally got the fight he was looking for. After his first 3 fight ended quickly, with only one of them making it into the second round, Taylor got a chance to test his ability to take the fight the distance; or almost!

Taylor faced John Phyr a tought opponent who was making his professional debut after building a record of 6-0-0 in the Ammys. Their fight was scheduled for Three 3 minute rounds. Taylor took the fight to 2:37 of the third round before submitting John with a arm triangle.

Taylor wanted to make sure that he did not leave the fight in the hands of the judges. He is also thankful for the experience the he gained duging this fight.
Both photos an a video of Taylors fight will be posted the Scrap Soldier site in the near future.
