Event Description
Operation Octagon is the DC area’s longest running and most successful Mixed Martial Arts fighting promotion. Since the first event in January 2008, Operation Octagon has sold out 17 consecutive fights and plans to bring another sold out show on January 28th to The Showplace in Richmond, VA. Combining some of the area’s top fighters and top-notch production, Operation Octagon continues to set itself apart from its competitors. Operation Octagon XVIII will feature current Welterweight title holder, Willie Floyd of Gold Medal Grappling competing for the Middleweight Title to hold titles in two weight classes, as well as Reed Miller of Vanguard Gym defending his Bantamweight Title. In addition to these stellar matches, Operation Octagon XVIII will boast about 10 other matches featuring the area's top MMA fighters. *fight card subject to change
