I am not a serious fighter, but enjoy Muay Thai training and a huge fan of the MMA. My height is 5'9" and weight little under 125 lbs. I want to gain some weight, but it's always been hard for me to put on weight. No matter how much I eat and even if I stop working out completely. I have spent some time poking around to find out some useful info and found nice deals on supplements at http://www.dealrocker.com/vitaminsandnutrition/dea... . Can anyone suggest me some good brands and healthy ways to gain weight?

Thanks..

Same problem my friend had, but lucky for you i did powerlifting in school and gaining weight is one thing im pro at!  managed to get my skinny friend from 150-185 in under 6 months

First off eat 5 meals a day, should start out as a high protein meal in the morning, this has the tendency to set your body into a growth state instead of a metabolic state as when you consume carbs in the morning, so try like 4 eggs(or more 6-7 egg whites but you prob wont mind the enxtra fat from the yolks)a slice of dark rye bread and some greens, if your planning to bulk and then cut when your larger feel free to add bacon or somthing of the sorts, i also take any suppliments i take for the day on this meal.

meal2 (snack) should be done after a morning workout, but in your case just do it anyway, try a green shake, a good protein powder with a couple greens throw in a blender add milk/greek yogurt if you REALLY worked out hard otherwise water is fine.

meal 3 should be a real meal somthing like 8 ounce of chicken greens and some carbs,

meal 4 should be another solid meal i personnally just like to make a healthy meal of my choice on this one cause i somtimes get sick of most workout meal plans,low/no carb on this meal

meal 5(more of a snack) should be eaten an  hour-2 hours before bed cottage cheese is good, eat 300g of it at least, or if you dont like sotmhing like that just have another shake whatever it is a good chunk of protein is a must,

Also whenever you workout always try and force a bit of protein shake down your throat afterwards, at least 20g of protein, (please note however that theres no need to eat more than 35G of protein in one sitting, at least for you, your body simply wont be able to absorb it all but youll still get some calories from it so not the end of the world if it happens)
