SSF Submission Academy is the only MMA, BJJ, Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling school in Clarksville TN. We have placed fighters in the UFC, Pride, Strikeforce, Bellator, XFC, Dreams, K-1 and many other top level Pro shows. Home to 2 Olympic Qualifiers in Boxing and an Olympic Alternate.
SSF has been selected to compete in the UFC, Bellator, XFC and Strikeforce multiple times each since opening a little over six years ago.
SSF has built their reputation on their willingness to fight anywhere. We fight out of TN more then any gym in the area.
In the past year SSF had fighters on shows in Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, NE, Canada, Louisiana, East, Middle, and West Tennessee. In addition to two UFC appearances owner and head MMA trainer, Ron Dayley, has also cornered SSF fighters at Strikeforce on two occasions, the most recent being Steven Durr who won his bout in the 1st round with an impressive triangle submission. Mr. Dayley is the only person in the Nashville area to work as an official for the UFC.
